Sublimation Printer


Paired with our Digital Media Computer, our Sublimation Printer is used for creating designs that can be transferred onto various objects (coffee cups, coasters, T-shirts, etc.) using our Heat Press. The Digital Media Computer & Sublimation Printer can be reserved for up to 2 hours at a time, includes: 

  • Microsoft Surface Studio computer
  • Microsoft Office software
  • Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition, Premiere)
  • Audacity software


Available at Downtown Kelowna library.

How to use the Sublimation Printer

Get Certified

To use the Sublimation Printer, you must first complete a certification course. 

Register for a Certification Workshop at Kelowna library

Register Online | Every third Thursday of the month | 6:00 to 7:00 PM PT

This workshop will lead you through the process of printing graphics on the sublimation printer and then transferring them to an object using our heat press.

Download the library’s Makerspace Waiver & Guidelines Form [PDF]. Complete the Maker Waiver form (page 1), agree to and follow the Makerspace Guidelines (page 2). Bring the completed form with you when you come to a Makerspace for the first time. 

Book the Digital Media Computer & Sublimation Printer!

Book Online: Browse and reserve maker stations on our online booking calendar, Spaces. You will be asked to create a Spaces account (and confirm your email address) to complete your first booking request.

Maker stations can be booked online two days in advance. For next day or same day bookings, please phone the library to ask if there are openings

What to bring

  1. Your library card and photo ID.
  2. Your own material, e.g., mug.
  3. A personal storage device to save your files to.
