LinkedIn Learning for Libraries is available through the browser on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. You can use the current or previous two releases of the following browsers:

  • Microsoft Edge
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Chrome
  • Opera

A mobile app is also available for your smartphone or tablet. Jump down to Enjoy LinkedIn Learning on the App.

Log In to the ORL's LinkedIn Learning site

Go to LinkedIn Learning for Libraries at https://www.linkedin.com/learning-login/go/orl.

Click Get Started on the “Your Library Invites you to LinkedIn Learning” screen.

Enter your library card barcode number (no spaces) and your PIN code, click Continue, then Sounds Good.

The first time you log in, you will be asked to select the topics you want to learn about. Choose at least 1, then click Continue.

Explore the site and start learning!

Know what you are looking for? Type your topic into the search box and press Enter key or click on the magnifying glass icon.

Want to see what courses are offered? Click the Browse button next to the search box. Choose Business, Creative, or Technology, then click on a topic. 

Click the title of a course to watch it.

Get the app for free from your app store, available for:

  • iPads and iPhones running iOS 12.0 or newer from the App Store.  
  • Android tablets and smartphones running Android 5.0 or newer from Google Play

 

Log in to the app with your library card  

  • Tap Sign in. You do not have to create or use a personal LinkedIn account to use this app, you will only need to enter your library card number.
  • For the Library ID, enter orl in the box and tap Continue.
  • Enter your library card number and PIN code and tap Continue.

 

Find & Watch Courses

  • Tap the magnifying glass at the top of the screen to search for a course of interest OR Tap the Topics tab at the bottom of the screen to browse available through available courses.
  • Tap the title of a course to watch it.

Did you get a new library card?

Due to GDPR regulations for data protection and privacy, LinkedIn cannot move the activity (watch history, bookmarks, playlists, etc.) associated with your old library card to your new card.
