Peachland Library Now Open

by ORL Marketing | Jun 16, 2017

We repaired the walls, installed new windows, changed the carpet and replaced damaged furniture. Our spirits are high, and we can't wait to see you in the Library.

It was imperative to the staff of the ORL to have the Library open as soon as possible. It took a lot of hard work and dedication from the staff, suppliers and contractors to be able to open the doors on June 20th, almost a week ahead of schedule. Although not all furniture and supplies have arrived, ORL felt it was vital that we start serving the community as soon as possible. Since the incident that forced the Library to close, Peachland residents and the community have expressed their need for the branch to re-open.

Thank you to all who submitted comments, send us your feedback and kind thoughts. We are excited to have our doors open again and to welcome you and your family in our newly renovated Peachland Branch of the Okanagan Regional Library.
