Friends of the Library
Many ORL branches are fortunate to have active community-based groups, called "Friends of the Library", that meet regularly to assist their branch by:
- Focusing attention on the branch and its needs
- Promoting the use of the library’s resources and services
- Fundraising to provide extra dollars for value-added programs, services, and materials
- Encouraging gifts to the ORL
