Is the book or item you want not available for you to borrow yet? You can place a hold request on it. Holds may be placed using several options:
In the library catalogue.
At your closest library branch. Ask for staff to help you or use the catalogue on library computers.
Call your closest library branch.
Please be aware that items on hold may be available for pickup in a common area of the library.
You can receive your hold pickup notices by email? Ask library staff for more details.
If you are going on vacation, or are too busy to borrow library materials at the moment, you can pause your holds and not miss out! Your holds will continue to move up the queue. If you reach the top, your holds will be skipped over but will not be cancelled. Go to your Holds page in your catalogue account to pause your holds, and choose their reactivation date.
