Press Release
March 16, 2020
For Immediate Release

Based on the direction and recommendation of the public health officials, and out of care and concern for the public, our customers and our staff, we will be closing until further notice all Okanagan Regional Library branches effective tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17.

At the end of the library open hours today, March 16, all book drops will be closed. Please enjoy the library materials you have out right now. Don't worry; you won't be charged fines or penalties.

All of our online resources will still be available 24/7 and can be accessed remotely using your library pass. Visit orl.bc.ca for a full list of available resources.

As you know, this is a constantly evolving situation. We will continue to work closely with health officials and are committed to keeping you up-to-date as things evolve and change.

Thank you for your support, understanding and patience during this difficult time. Now is a critical moment when we must all work together to ensure the well-being of our communities and mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

Keep calm, remember your neighbours, and keep safe and healthy.
Okanagan Regional Library Leadership Team.
