Children's Programs
Reading Rocks! Summer Reading Club 2010
Summer Reading Club is for children aged 6-12 years old. All programs are FREE!
Registration starts June 21.
Reading records, stickers, bookmarks, contests, weekly book draws and fun prizes to be won!

Pets Rock! With Mike from The Purple Seahorse
Hands-on fun with pets, the usual and the unusual. Registration required – limit of 40.
Thursday, July 29 10:00-11:00 AM:
Science Rocks! With John Evans
Experimenting with science. Registration required – limit of 30.
Teen Reading Club
This website is for Canadian teens who love to read. You can introduce people to the books you've read, post reviews, share your writing, and discuss your favourite (and least favourite) reads with teens and librarians. There are quizzes and contests with chances to win books and TeenRC prizes!
Storytimes and Babytimes will resume in the fall.
Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Westbank Library, formed in February 2001, actively support the work of the library and its staff. The monies raised from their book sales are used to buy non-budget items and to sponsor various programs and events that take place in the library. The Friends also organize the popular Winter/Spring Wednesday Evening Speakers Programs that take place in the library once a month to the end of April.
