Remember Show & Tell from when you were in Kindergarten? 

 Well, it's time for grown-up Show & Tell.  Bring a photo, letter, family heirloom or artifact and share your story or just come and listen.  There will also be a special screening of "Valour to Remember", a film honouring local veterans.   Hosted by Rebecca Robinson, video biographer and member of the Association of Personal Historians.

Thursday Storytimes run Thursday mornings from 10-10:30am until April 30, 2015. 

Enjoy fun with your preschooler ~ Join David for stories, rhymes, songs and fingerplays.  For toddlers and preschoolers 18 months - 5 years, their parents and caregivers.

Babytimes 

 Babytimes are held Tuesday mornings from 10:15am-10:45am until March 17.  Join Catherine for songs, rhymes and stories.  Parents/caregivers are required to participate with their child.   

All babytime and storytime programs are drop-in and FREE!

Meeting Room

Westbank branch has a meeting room available for rent. With a theatre style set-up, the room has a seating capacity of 20-25. The room is available on open days and rents for $40.00 for the first 2 hours and $10.00 per hour for each additional hour.  Bookings are not confirmed until the rental fee has been paid.

Friends of the Library

The Westbank Friends of the Library, formed in February 2001, actively support the work of the library and its staff.   The monies raised from their book sales are used to buy non-budget items and to sponsor various programs and events that take place in the library. The Friends also organize the popular Wednesday Evening  Speakers Programs that take place in the library once a month during the winter/spring months.
