The Lake Country Branch is located inside the Lake Country Municipal Hall.
When the library is closed, there are two book drop slots available to customers. Our book drops are open 24 hours except for Halloween night, Easter weekend and Christmas closure, when they are locked.

Snap Circuit Science gives kids the opportunity to construct different circuit projects and learn the basics of electrical circuits.

Learn about the rich history of Gibson House from its building in 1912, and the many uses the property served, to its restoration in 1987.
Gibson House is now a heritage museum and is the gem of Kopje Regional Park.

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your pants approach to creative writing.
On Nov 1st, participants begin working towards a goal of writing a 50,000 word novel before Dec 1.
Lake Country Branch will be hosting Come Write In sessions on Wednesday evenings in November from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

This program is open to Teens and Adults.
Participants are required to provide their own laptop, free & unlimited WiFi is available.
We can provide tours to classes/groups free of charge.
For students, we can provide an introduction to the library or tailor the visit around a project or assignment.
For adult groups, we can provide a tour of the library and ORL's many resources!

Public use of the Group Study Room is intended for use by individuals/groups gatherings of an educational, cultural or civic nature.
Library events and programs will take precedence.
The room accommodates approximately 10 people and is available for booking on a first-come-first-served basis.

The Lake Country Branch has 4 internet terminals with word processing capabilities available for one hour per day.
Unlimited Wi-Fi access is available all day for people with their own devices.
Printing and photocopying is $0.25 per page, black and white only. Scanning to email is available and is free of charge.
