With library membership, you have unlimited access to over 6,000 film-festival hits, including the best of Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca, as well as and shorts and documentaries from around the world.

Step 1: Visit InstantFlix and click on Browse Films.

Step 2: Log in or create an InstantFlix Account.

Do you have a Zinio for Libraries Account for enjoying eMagazines?  You can log in with that.

If not, click on Create New Account and enter your library barcode number to validate it.

Then enter your name, email address, create a password and click Create Account (Remember the email address and password used, they will be used to log in to the InstantFlix (and the Zinio for Libraries collection) from now on.

You will receive a confirmation email indicating that your account has been created.

After you log in, you will be forwarded on to explore the InstantFlix collection.

Step 3: Search or Browse for Movies.

Step 4: Click on a movie tile, then press Play to watch your movie!

 

There is no software or app to download! The movies play directly on your browser through the internet.

InstantFlix is available through the browser on your

  • Computer
  • Apple iOS mobile devices (e.g., iPhone, iPad)
  • Android mobile devices (e.g., Samsung tablet)

You can also watch InstantFlix films through your Roku streaming player.

 

InstantFlix suggests using the most up to date versions of one of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Opera
  • Safari for Mac OSX
  • Microsoft Edge for Windows 10 

 

Please be aware that there may be a few movies featured in the InstantFlix collection that are not available to watch in Canada due to their rights and distribution licences. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
