Friends of the Library

Salmon Arm's Friends of the Library group was formed in 1998. The Friends support the library through advocacy and fundraising.  The group organizes two book sales a year, in January and June. Book sale proceeeds help sponsor library programs such as author visits and special children's programs and contests. The Friends have also donated several furnishings for the library, including our lounge chairs and the loveseat for the children's area. Friends also volunteer with the library's HomeBound delivery program. Meetings are held 5 times a year on the third Monday of February, April, June, September and November. New members are always welcome. For more information, contact the library at 250-832-6161.
