The Revelstoke Branch is located in the Community Centre on Campbell Avenue. 

There are two book slots to the left of the main entrance along the Campbell Avenue side of the building in which to return books at any time (except during the Easter and Christmas closures).

All branches closed on statutory holidays

Free parking is available in the Community Centre parking lot on the south side of the building.

Upcoming Special Events

Pain Management Workshop

Tuesday, May 19 3:00 to 4:00 PM

This presentation is for anyone who would like to learn how to better manage pain. Whether your painful condition is recurring tension headaches, discomfort from repetitive movement, an old sport injury, recovery from surgery, or a more serious condition such as arthritis. Join Linda Wooster; a facilitator with the University of Victoria's Centre for Aging.


Children's Programs


Stories, songs, puppets, rhymes and more! 

Please call or come in to register for this free program.

For: Children 3 and younger will enjoy this program but all ages are welcome.

Dates:   Every Friday from 10:15 to 10:45 AM starting January 9, 2015 to May 29, 2015



Fun interactive literacy activities with lots of stories and songs!

Dates:  Every Friday from 11:00 to 11:30 AM starting January 9, 2015 to May 29, 2015

Storytimes will not run when schools are closed for Pro-D days and holidays - all ages will then be welcome to the Toddlertime on those days


Multicultural Storytelling Saturdays

Each monthly program features stories, activities and crafts from a different culture.

No registration is necessary for this free program.

For: Children of all ages. Children under 4 years of age should be accompanied by a caregiver.

Dates:  From 3:00 to 4:00 PM on one Saturday of every month starting February 21, 2015 to May 16 (excl April 18)


Lego Club

Have fun creating fantastic creatures and structures according to the monthly theme! Use the library's huge Lego collection and your creation will be displayed in the library!

No registration is necessary for this free program.

For: Children aged 6ish and older (younger children are welcome with a caregiver)

Dates:  From 2:30 to 3:30 PM on the 4th Saturday of every month starting January 24, 2015 to May 23, 2015


Family Craft Day

We provide the materials and instructions - you do the creating!  Create a craft or piece of art to take home. 

No registration is necessary for this free program.

For: Children of all ages. Children under 4 years of age should be accompanied by a caregiver.

Dates: From 10:30 to 4:00 PM on the 1st Saturday of every month starting January 3, 2015 to May 2, 2015



Class visits and tours: 

We would love to come to your class for a visit or have your class come to the library for a tour and a storytime!  Please give us a call at 250-837-5095 for more information and to set up a time. 



Adult Programs 

Common Threads with Natalie Lebel

Do you knit, crochet, cross-stitch, needlepoint or latch-hook?  Whether you are experienced or just beginning to learn, come and join the fun (with tea provided) as we learn together!  Participants are asked to bring their own supplies.

This is a free program with no registration required.

For:  For all ages and and all levels of experience

Dates: From 7:00 to 8:30 PM every 2nd and 4th Tuesday starting January 13, 2015 to April 28, 2015


Digital Resource Tutoring at the Senior's Centre

Sign up in the computer lab at the Senior's Centre (in the Community Centre) for one-on-one tutoring with Kendra. Learn how to download eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines; how to access any of the Okanagan Regional Library's digital resources; or how to use the library's website and catalogue.

For:  Members of the Senior's Centre (anyone over 19 years can join for $10) with a basic knowledge of computers

Dates: Thursdays between 10:00 and 2:00



We currently have a bookclub that meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 1:00PM.  Please let us know if your bookclub would like to meet at the library - we would love to have you meet in our quiet meeting room with kettle, coffeemaker, and any furniture you may require. We would also love to suggest and order in the books that you require.

Current Displays by Local Artists

We are very proud to be displaying works by local artists Tina Lindegaard, Tanis Rebbetoy, and The Golden Girls group (Lorna Duncan, Muriel Rota, Gwynne Battersby, Sherrin Davis, Delfina Peressini, and Linda McGee). These amazing local artists have generously allowed us to display a multitude of pieces using a wide variety of techniques such as graphite, watercolour, oils, and pottery.


Please contact us if you are a local artist who would like to temporarily display your artwork; we welcome students of art as well.



Borrowing eBooks and digital resources

Exam Invigilation

We provide free proctoring services in the library during any of our open hours.  We have free and unlimited wifi accessibility for your online exams if you have your own device/laptop, or you are welcome to use our public computers if your online exam is less than 60 minutes. Contact Kendra to set up a time.



Internet Availability

We offer one hour per day of free internet access on our three computers for members of the library as well as non-members.  We also offer unlimited and free internet access for anyone with their own wireless device.



Meeting Room Availability

Please feel free to use our quiet meeting room for tutoring, studying, formal or informal gatherings when it is not being used for our own programs and events.  The room accommodates approximately 30 people and is available for booking ahead of time.  We have chairs and tables available for use as well.  Please call us at 250-837-5095 or come in for more details.
