Book return slots are located on the parking lot side of the library and are always open except for Halloween night and during our Easter and Christmas closures.
Free parking is available on the north side of the library building. Handicapped parking is located by the building in the parking lot. If you require further assistance please contact the library.

SUMMER READING CLUB 
FOR AGES 5 TO 12
Starting July 15th there will be Free programs on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. Join us for stories, contests, weekly book draws, great prizes, special guests and lots of fun! Come into the library anytime after June 15th to register and receive your Reading Log and program information.
On THURSDAY, JULY 8TH AT 1:00 p.m. there will be a Special Event with children’s musician Will Stroet from Vancouver. Everyone is welcome to join us for his Reading Rocks concert, a high energy interactive musical event.

Join us for a “Rocky Time in Mother Goose Land”as familiar fairytale characters find themselves in unfamiliar circumstances. Plays, puppets and lots of laughs.
Thursday, July 22nd 7:00 p.m.
Pets Rock! Everyone should have a pet. Come and make your own unique Pet Rock and learn how to care for your special pet. Stories and Surprises!
Thursday, July 29th 7:00 p.m.
Come and Rock at the Monster Mash! Meet Ruby Red Lips and enjoy a “delicious, suspicious”snack. Be sure and dress as your favorite monster.
Thursday, August 5th 7:00 p.m.
Special Guest, Kiki the Eco Elf, with her vibrant green hair will encourage everyone to make a difference in the world with her enthusiastic interactive program.

Please be sure and come for our Rockin’ Volcanic Windup Party. Special guests will be the Oliver Fire Department and a huge surprise!
Summer Storytime for ages 3 to 5
This FREE program for preschoolers will run from July 9 to August 13 on Friday mornings starting at 10:00 am. Come and join us for fun with stories, songs, puppets, fingerplays and more! Drop-in or register at the desk.
Friends of the Oliver Library
The Oliver Branch has a very active Friends of the Library group. They hold their Annual Book Blast Sale on the first Saturday of July each year. Donations for their book sale can be dropped off at the Oliver Branch during our open hours or you can call the library to arrange for one of their members to pick up your donations.
The Friends of the Oliver Library are always looking for new members, if you are interested in joining them; please ask at the circulation desk for one of their membership pamphlets.

Books to Your Door
The Oliver branch’s “Books to Your Door” service is a volunteer program offered by the library that matches homebound readers with a volunteer who will pick up book selections at the library and deliver them. If you would like to be part of this program either as a volunteer or a recipient please call the library for more information.
