The Women's Institute in Okanagan Falls act as ambassadors for our branch, as well as being involved in many other community organziations. For information on getting involved, please contact the branch at 250-497-5886.
The Lions Club & The Royal Canadian Legion #227 have provided funds for age appropriate books for all 6, 12 and 18 month old children in Ok Falls. Families receive book certificates to exchange for the books at the OK Falls library. Communities for kids (http://www.communitiesforkids.ca ) partners with these two service clubs, the ok Falls library and Public Health who distributes the certificates. A reading tip is included in each book. Parents don't forget to come into the library and pick up your childs book.
