Summer Reading Club 2010 at the Lake Country Library
We will be having 4 programs every Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. starting July 9 to July 30 and featuring our theme READING ROCKS! We also have a special Tuesday July 13th program at 10 a.m. presented by children's musician Will Stroet with his "Reading Rocks" concert.
Programs are: July 9 Rockin' Art presented by Marlene McPherson
July 13 TUESDAY, 10:00 a.m. - Reading Rocks concert with Will Stroet
July 16 Rocks and Fossils presented by Dave from Cornerstone Galleries
July 23 Fly Fishing presented by Vicki Greene
July 30 Summer Reading Club Party!
All programs are FREE! Registration is required for all programs.
Our Registration begins Tuesday, June 22. Children can register for the programs they want to attend and pick up their reading log. We will also have fun actrivities and contests and plenty of PRIZES during the summer.! For more information, contact the library at 250-766-3141.
Summer Baby Time
Our summer session of Baby Time begins Tuesday, July 6 at 10:00 a.m. and continues each Tuesday until the session finishes on September 7. Another session of Baby Time will start in the fall. This FREE program is for babies and caregivers. Registration is required.
