Stickers, medals and certificates will be available at the Enderby circulation desk until mid September for students who have completed their reading records.
Family Storytime will resume on Saturday September 18 at 11:00 am.
Join us for programs full of fun with stories, songs, puppets and surprises.
Each Saturday morning from September 18 to December 4 a variety of stories are presented for children 3 years of age and older.
Drop in programs. Children must be accompanied by an adult who stays in the building during the program.
The Friends of the Library group in Enderby was formed in September 2000. Named the Enderby Library Friends (E.L.F.), they raise awareness in the community about library services. They also generate funds to provide special items and programs to enhance the branch. In 2009 they paid for special Summer Reading Club programs and prizes. E.L.F. also paid for a mural in the children's area of the branch and paid for various presenters for childrens' programs.
E.L.F. members maintain their profile in the community with an annual used book sale under the direction of a volunteer co-ordinator. A booksale is planned for Saturday November 6, 2010 and volunteers are needed to help with publicity and organize books for the sale. If you can help please contact Glenna at the Enderby Branch for more information.
This small group of volunteers is committed to providing ongoing benefits for the Enderby branch. If you are interested in supporting your local Library please contact the Enderby Branch of the Okanagan Regional Library at 250-838-6488.
