Holiday Closure: December 23 through January 1

by ORL News | Dec 02, 2019

All branches of the Okanagan Regional Library will begin their annual holiday closure period beginning Monday, December 23 through Wednesday, January 1.

Library branches will resume normal operating hours on Thursday, January 2, 2020.

Loan periods for physical items such as books, CDs, DVDs, and magazines, have been extended to ensure that you can keep your borrowed items over the closure without late fees.

Book-drops at several library branches will be locked over the closure, so please hold on to your books and other items until the library system re-opens!

Loan periods will go back to normal when library branches re-open in the new year. If unsure, check due dates of items by logging into your online account anytime, or call your library branch before December 23.

The ORL website, including the catalogue and all online resources, will continue to be available during the closure period.
