Sign With Me Story Time
Join a deaf storyteller and a children's librarian for stories, songs, and rhymes presented in both American Sign Language and English. This program is welcome to attendees of all abilities. An interpreter will be present.
The last half of the program is dedicated to socializing; the library will supply a small snack and craft. Financial assistance provided by the Central Okanagan Foundation.
NEW TIME* Running the 1st Saturday of Every Month.
Parents will learn fun ways to interact with their child during this two hour oral early literacy program. Snack time and play time are included in each session. In partnership with The Clubhouse Childcare Centre, and funding by the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development.

What you need:
Spoon the strawberry yogurt into a 12-ounce plastic to-go cup with a lid or a medium resealable plastic container. Top it evenly with 2 tablespoons of the cereal, followed by the blueberries. Repeat with vanilla yogurt, the remaining 2 tablespoons of cereal, and the strawberries. Serve immediately, or cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.

Learn how to use the library's Ancestry.com database for genealogy research within a small group setting.
On the last Wednesday of the month a member of the Kelowna and District Genealogical Society and a Librarian from the Westbank Branch are ready to help you with your Ancestry questions.
Westbank branch has a meeting room available for rent. With a theatre style set-up, the room has a seating capacity of 20-25.
The room is available on open days and rents for $40.00 + tax for the first 2 hours and $10.00 + tax per hour for each additional hour. Bookings are not confirmed until the rental fee has been paid.

Use our new study room for free. It has a seating capacity of up to 10 people.
The room is available during branch hours for a duration of 2 hours. It can be booked up to 2 days in advance.
The Westbank Friends of the Library, formed in February 2001, actively support the work of the library and its staff.
The monies raised from their book sales are used to buy non-budget items and to sponsor various programs and events that take place in the library.
The Friends also organize the popular Wednesday Evening Speakers Programs that take place in the library once a month during the winter/spring months.
