Have you heard about the Rock Monster Challenge that was started by Vancouver mom Amanda Marshall? Amanda wrote the story Rock Monsters to help children better understand the COVID-19 virus, and as a fun activity to connect everyone during this time of social distancing.
Westbank Library staff have participated in the challenge and we want you to join us! Listen to Westbank’s very own Catherine Mamo as she reads the Rock Monster Story to you. How many rock monsters can you find in your community?
Please do not touch or move the rock monsters – leave them for everyone to enjoy! IF you have taken one already we ask that you return it to the area you found it.
Show us your creations or show us where you found our rock monsters using social media with the hashtags #rockmonsters #libraryathome
