Oliver Library Summer Reading Club Take Home Crafts and Contests.
Hey Kids come check out the Library Window to see the Summer Reading Club display. We are now located in the Oliver Place Mall.
Come to the library to pick up a weekly craft. A new craft will be available every Thursday. Complete it and send a picture to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and phone number and you will be entered into a draw. Enter every Thursday by 5 pm.. You will have a chance to win amazing prizes and books. The prize for this contest is drawn every Friday
The SRC project for this summer is to create a Space Themed Object. When you complete it, send a picture to email@example.com with your name and phone number. You will then be entered into a the Mystery Prize Bag. Entries must be in by August 31.
We will also have our Check Out 5 books contest. When you check out 5 books your name will also be entered in another draw for a Mystery Prize Bag. Last day to enter for this prize is August 29.

If you are a writer or a “wannabe” writer, you may want to join this new writing group.
The Oliver Scribblers meets on the first and third Thursday of every month @ 10 am in the library.
We will focus on various aspects of writing including grammar, punctuation, word usage, phraseology, style and more.
If you are seriously interested in writing, please come and join us!

Our new lock and charge station individually stores, charges phones, small tablets and mini iPads. Easy to use and works like a hotel safe. Lock it, leave it, come back to a fully charged device. It's easy and convenient.
We have public computers with internet access. They are available to patrons one time per day per person for 30 minute sessions.
Unlimited Wi-Fi access is available all day for people with their own devices.
Printing and photocopying is $0.25 per page, black and white only. Scanning to email is available and free of charge.

The Oliver branch’s “Books to Your Door” service is a volunteer program offered by the library that matches homebound readers with a volunteer who will pick up book selections at the library and deliver them.
If you would like to be part of this program either as a volunteer or a recipient please call the library for more information.

The Oliver Branch has a very active Friends of the Library group.
They hold their Annual Book Blast Sale on the first Saturday of July each year.
Donations for their book sale can be dropped off at the Oliver Branch from January to July each year during our open hours or you can call the library to arrange for one of their members to pick up your donations.
The Friends of the Oliver Library are always looking for new members, if you are interested in joining them; please ask at the circulation desk for one of their membership pamphlets.
