These magazines are exclusive to this digital collection.
Read magazines in print-like layout on the internet browser of your computer, laptop, or mobile device. A Wi-Fi connection is strongly recommended. (A mobile app is also available so that you can enjoy magazines on your smartphone or tablet, go to Enjoying magazines on the Flipster App).
Go to Flipster Digital Magazines, enter your library card number (no spaces) and select Sign In.
To open a magazine, click or tap on its cover image or select the Read This Issue link.
The magazine will open up in a separate tab for reading. You can adjust the viewing options using the settings on the column found on the right-hand side of the screen.
Open the most recent issue of a magazine and select the All Issues menu item in the right-hand column.
Note: Older issues can go back up to 2014, depending on the magazine. You may be able to access older articles for some magazines through our MasterFILE Premier collection.
While you can enjoy magazines on the browser of your smartphone or tablet, you can also enjoy them on the Flipster App. The app will let you download magazines for reading offline, and includes text-only viewing options and a text-to-speech reader that can read the magazines articles to you.

Tap Get Started.
In the search box at the top of the screen, enter Okanagan.
Tap the Log in button next to "Okanagan Reg Library" on the list of search results.
Enter your library barcode number and PIN code, then tap Sign in.
From the Explore screen, tap on download icon (blue arrow).
You can find the issue on the My Shelf screen.
Some magazines list an expiry date, and you will be asked to delete them. You can re-download the magazine if you wish to continue reading it.

Swipe your finger left or right to flip through pages of the magazine.
Tap the Table of Contents (3 lines) icon in the upper right-hand corner to view the digital table of contents with links to each article.
Tap the Full screen (square) icon in the upper left-hand corner to read the magazine in full screen mode. Tap it again to exit full screen mode.
Tap Text View in the upper right-hand corner to read a text only version of an article with images and ads removed (if there is more than 1 article on the page, you will be provided with a drop-down menu to select the article you want to read). Tap the Page View link, or back arrow icon, to return to the page view of the magazine.
Tap My Shelf to return to your list of magazines in the app
On the article you would like to read, tap Text View.
Tap the Speaker icon.
Press the play button in the Text to Speech window to hear the article read to you.
When finished, tap Cancel to close the window.
On the Explore screen, tap the Info (i in a circle) icon for a magazine to view and download its available back issues.
