COVID-19 and your library

by ORL Marketing | Mar 13, 2020

We know that we need to balance public service with public safety. We are following the advice of the Public Health Agency of Canada, BC Ministry of Health and the Interior Health Authority.

These health authorities advise, for the time being, the risk of exposure to individuals in the ORL region remains low. They advise following standard prevention measures, including washing your hands regularly, avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands, and avoiding close contact with sick people.

For the present, library branches will remain open and programs are continuing as planned. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and make adjustments if and when it changes. Any changes to library service will be posted on orl.bc.ca.
