When the library is closed there are book return drops located on the west side of the building, underneath the Library sign. These are open 24 hours a day, except during the Easter and Christmas closures.
Free parking is available in the Capital News Centre parking lot.

Babytime (Pre-walkers)

For pre-walkers and their caregivers, a program that offers
one-on-one bonding time with baby while enjoying songs,
rhymes and stories
Toddlertime (1½ – 3 years)
Tuesdays at 10:15 AM – 10:45 AM
September 14 – December 14
Parents and toddlers all participate with simple stories, puppets,
songs and fingerplays
Storytime (3 – 5 years)
Thursdays at 10:15 AM – 10:45 AM
September 9 – December 16 (excl. November 11)

Gordon Drive bridge over Mission Creek is closed!
But it’s still easy to get to Mission Branch! From Tuesday, June 1st, Gordon Drive will be closed between Lexington and Cook Road for the reconstruction of Gordon Drive bridge and widening of the roadway to four lanes. Gordon Drive is expected to re-open on Friday, September 10th, 2010.
Detours will be marked along the route and traffic personnel will be on site directing motorists. Alternate routes include Dehart to Swamp Road and Lexington to Lakeshore road. A temporary traffic signal will be at Lakeshore and Lexington. Motorists are encouraged to plan their commute as delays are expected.
